Limited, Prestige and Unique Edition Prints
Each print is an original work of art, sold in a limited edition based on the type.
Limited Edition
Each creation in this edition is limited to between 30 and 50 pieces worldwide.
Numbered and signed, these works embody a delicate balance between rarity and ephemeral beauty, offering a door to the Nature that surrounds us, reserved for an exclusive circle of enthusiasts and collectors.
Prestige Edition
The Prestige Collection by Filippo Macchi is an ode to uniqueness and excellence.
Each Prestige masterpiece is limited to 10 copies, restricting the number of prints worldwide.
Purchasing a piece from the Prestige collection means owning a unique fragment of “Altrove“, an eternal embrace with the extraordinary.
Unique Edition
The Unique Edition collection is a ode to timeless elegance and the majesty of the mountains. These fragments of timeless truth are windows into the soul of the mountains, promises of eternity.
Each print, unique and precious, is an invitation to immerse yourself in the monumental and silent splendor of the peaks, an artistic heritage to contemplate, preserve and pass on.
Unless otherwise specified, prints can be requested on PVC or D-Bond support.
Printing
All these fine art works are printed in Italy in collaboration with a top quality partner, verified by the Artist personally throughout their production process.
All photographs, except those in the Unique Edition series, are printed on 2 mm thick Dibond® panel.
Fine Art Papers
Among the best fine art papers available on the market, my choice went to the Hahnemühle Fineart Baryta 325 g/mq.
Hahnemuehle FineArt Baryta is a high-quality 100% alpha-cellulose paper, resistant over time, with a brilliant gloss surface.
Hahnemuehle FineArt Baryta 325 combines a pleasant artistic surface with an original baryta finish. The digital Baryta paper has a unique “touch and feel” sensation that recalls traditional darkroom paper and contains barium sulphate in the coating, which increases the typical gloss reflection, higher Dmax, wide gamut and image definition.
It is perfect for printing both black and white and color images.
White Border | Ready for Framing
Each print is supplied to the customer with a white border of a few centimeters beyond the inked surface to facilitate the framing (see A) or to be used as a printed passepartout (see B).
A – Once received the print, If the customer wants to apply a real passepartout, he can do so by asking his trusted framer to cut it to the right size. 45 º angle, acid free quality to avoid yellowing over time.
B – Otherwise he can use the border around the photograph as a “printed passepartout”, ready to be framed. A very convenient solution that will still give prominence and value to photography.
